Lisa Wilhelm Celeste has been the director of the premier dance academy in the area since 1987 with studios in Rocky River and Avon, Ohio. Popular for hiring a professional staff, most whom have danced around the world, and all at the college level; our “Family of Teachers” makes for a very inviting atmosphere for the dancer.

Our students are fortunate to train during the summer, with Ballet San Jose’s Karen Gabay & Ray Rodriguez, both formerly with Cleveland Ballet, who use Wilhelm Dance as their summer home.

Whether your child is in our pre-school or pre-professional program, Lisa actively teaches all levels and subjects, as well as, oversees all instructors and classes.

Our students have won local, state, and national competitions and numerous best overall awards in Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop and Contemporary, as well as Cecchetti Ballet scholarships.

Recently at the Hollywood Connection National Finals in Los Angeles, our students won runner-up and first place in the ballet division, along with the prestigious Millenium Studio Scholarship, awarded to only 3 dancers at the National Finals.

We are the only studio in the area who performs an annual winter performance - "Our Nutcracker" and a Spring Gala performance in June.

We stress correct technique, good manners, and the ability to interact well with others. Dance training is an important part of a person’s mental & physical development, providing an emotional outlet & helps to develop self-confidence.

The studio provides performance opportunities for beginner through pre-professional dancers.
